Financial Management at LANXESS covers the Group Functions (GF) Accounting, Treasury, Internal Auditing, Investor Relations and Tax. In the Accounting Group Function the main job is to provide financial information to control the company and for the capital markets, as well as ensuring that the respective corporate processes are in place. This includes the definition, description and support of globally standardised processes and parameters as well as setting out the Group's financial statements and supporting the subsidiaries.
The Treasury Group Function is responsible for the group-wide financial risk and liquidity management as well as for positioning LANXESS in the debt capital markets. The main tasks here are cash flow planning, the determining and monitoring worldwide risk positions for, among other things, currencies, interest, commodities and energy prices, as well as pension assets and all other group financing activities. A sound financial management in dynamic and volatile markets has become an important success factor for internationally-operating groups.
Further training assignments can also include the Group Functions Internal Auditing, Investor Relations or Tax.
A fixed element of your training program is also at least one foreign assignment lasting several months in one of our international group companies. The Finance Trainee Program opens up opportunities for you to join the internationally-organised financial organisation at LANXESS. One of your main responsibilities will be to support the operating business of the global Business Units. The focus of your activities will be driven by an eye for the feasible, the strict adherence to global Governance Regulations and the achievement of strategic corporate objectives.
