Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) – CDLI
As an international investor initiative and non-profitmaking organization, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has the goal of creating transparency with respect to greenhouse gas emissions. To do so, the CDP annually collects data from thousands of companies worldwide on CO2 emissions, reduction strategies and objectives and climate-related risks and opportunities, and thus possesses the world's largest dataset of this kind.
Through its annual participation LANXESS too demonstrates its transparent approach to the issue of emissions. Since 2012 the CDP has included LANXESS in the Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) twice (2012, 2013). In the most recent assessment in 2015 LANXESS was awarded 98 out of 100 possible points for the Disclosure category.
