He told students what the job of chief financial officer entails, described the typical career path of a top manager and indicated the profile required for a position of this kind. “For your future career, it is important not only to graduate from school with good grades but also to demonstrate courage, curiosity and the ability to be a team player. Good people in a good team are unbeatable,” Zachert advised his young audience.
On the winning team with LANXESS
This was not the first good experience the 11th and 12th grade students had enjoyed with LANXESS. A group from the school came first in a stock exchange competition for students – they succeeded in making the highest profits by investing mainly in LANXESS shares.
