LANXESS on track for record year
LANXESS achieved a record third quarter in 2011 due to ongoing strong demand especially for its synthetic rubbers and high-tech plastics. The German specialty chemicals company also reiterated its full-year outlook for EBITDA pre exceptionals to grow about 20 percent year-on-year and thus exceed the EUR one billion mark for the first time in the company’s history.
LANXESS presents its inorganic pigment granules in Mexico and Brazil
In two separate workshops LANXESS Inorganic Pigments presented its Bayferrox G line to customers in Latin America. The workshops took place on September 22nd in Mexico and on September 27th in Brazil. LANXESS granules products provide modern technology and economical usage for the construction market
LANXESS to produce first bio-based EPDM rubber in the world
LANXESS is strengthening its commitment to produce premium synthetic rubbers from bio-based raw materials. The German specialty chemicals company aims to commercially produce ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) from bio-based ethylene by the end of the year. It will be the first form of bio-based EPDM rubber in the world.
LANXESS raises guidance after record Q2
LANXESS has lifted its full-year guidance for 2011 after achieving record results in the second quarter. The specialty chemicals company now expects EBITDA pre exceptionals to grow about 20 percent year-on-year after previously forecasting a growth of 10-15 percent. EBITDA pre exceptionals in the second quarter rose 26 percent year-on-year to EUR 339 million.
