Dow Jones Sustainability Index

In 2011, for the first time, LANXESS is listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World. The DJSI World is one of the most important sustainability indices worldwide. The index represents the top 10 percent of the largest 2,500 companies in the Dow Jones Global Total Stock Market Index^sm based on long-term economic, environmental and social criteria.

FTSE4Good-Index

LANXESS has met the criteria for inclusion in the FTSE4Good Index. The listing confirms the Groups' sustainable management. Created in 2001 by the Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange the FTSE4Good is a main criterion for decisions about sustainable investment. Companies listed in FTSE4Good must meet stringent ethical, social and ecological criteria.

The renowned Munich-based agency oekom research recently raised LANXESS' Corporate Responsibility Rating to C+. This improved level applies to both the "social" and "environmental" areas.
