Product Description

Phosphoric acid, 2-ethylhexyl (mono- & di-ester)

Alkyl acid phosphate ester based on a mixture of mono- and di-esters, combining lipophilicity with strong coordination chemistry toward metal cations. The acidic P–OH group enables both selective complexation of metals in hydrometallurgical extraction circuits and protective boundary film formation on metal surfaces in lubricant and fluid applications. The surface-active product is also effective as an emulsifier, dispersant, wetting and anti-static agent in inks, industrial & institutional cleaners or textile auxiliaries.

• Textile auxiliaries: antistatic agent and lubricant in synthetic fiber spin finish formulations
• I&I and special cleaners: solubilizer, wetting agent and dispersant
• Hydrometallurgy: extracting agent in LLE processes
