Product Description
Calcinate® OR is a 400 TBN first intent overbased calcium sulfonate. This product is a high quality sulfonate designed to be a component in metal working formulations providing the beneficial effects of alkalinity for neutralizing acid and superior demulsibility for rust inhibition. It also directly protects the metal surface from corrosion. The calcium to sulfonate ratio is optimized for good oil solubility and compatibility with other formulating components. Calcinate® OR is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.
