Product Description

Isopropyl chloroformate offers controlled ways to introduce carbonyl based functional groups in pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and polymer synthesis. It reacts with amines to form carbamates, with alcohols to form organic carbonates, and enables the incorporation of isopropylcarboxy or isopropylester groups into target molecules. In addition to synthesis, the compound is further used in dyes, pigments, fragrance components, and for analytical derivatization.
