Hand cleaning and disinfecting are one of the most important things a person can do to help prevent illness and the spread of infections. Disease-causing pathogens can be easily transferred to and from inanimate objects such as door handles, table tops, walls and other surfaces. Without even realising it, people will then touch their nose, mouth and eyes potentially either becoming infected or transmitting infection. As soap and water isn’t always readily available, sanitising hand gels are a perfect solution to use after every interaction with a potentially infectious surface or object.

Available in a handy pocket sized 200ml bottle for use whilst out and about, and in a 5 litre pump container that can be located at entrances of buildings, production facilities, shops, restaurants, healthcare institutions etc.
A bespoke stand is available for the 5 litre container to aid ease of use and increase visibility at doorways and building entrance points. Details available on request.

 

Virkosan™ is a sanitising hand gel for cleaning and disinfecting hands without the need for water. Containing 80% alcohol with Aloe Vera, Virkosan™ removes dirt and protects against microorganisms while keeping the skin hydrated.

Virkosan™ has been tested and complies with:
EN 1500 (bacteria): Hygienic treatment of friction hands for medical applications.
EN 14476 (enveloped viruses, including an additional study on human corona virus 229E): Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics - Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of enveloped virucidal activity in the medical area.
EN 13727 (bacteria): Hygienic hand rub disinfection.
EN 13624 (yeast): Hygienic hand rub disinfection.

100g solution contains the following active substances:

Active ingredients: 80g ethanol - (80% w/w)
