Product Description
ADDITIN® RC 5201 is a sulfur-rich extreme pressure (EP) additive designed to enhance the load-carrying performance of water-miscible metalworking fluids. Based on dimercaptothiadiazole technology, it is particularly effective in demanding machining and forming operations where enhanced protection against wear and surface damage is required.
The additive is especially suitable for fully synthetic and semi-synthetic metalworking fluid formulations and can be incorporated into aqueous systems after neutralization. In addition, ADDITIN® RC 5201 can be used to improve the EP performance of grease formulations.

Formulation Advantages
ADDITIN® RC 5201 can be dissolved in water-based formulations after neutralization with suitable alkaline agents, enabling the formulation of high-performance metalworking fluids with enhanced EP characteristics. The product is also readily dispersible in greases, offering formulators flexibility across multiple lubrication applications.
