Product Description

NOFIA® EX1202 is a phosphorus-based flame retardant additive based on a BPA-free monomer. The product has a phosphorus content of 12.5 wt% and is suitable for flame retarding thermoplastic elastomers and thermoset resins, especially polyurethanes. NOFIA® EX1202 is soluble in selected thermoset processing solvents such as DMF and DMAc, enabling the production of transparent flame-retardant thermoset resins. It is particularly suitable for structural composites, coatings and foams where transparent material properties and efficient flame retardancy are required.
