Product Description
Rhenofit® TAC/S is a highly efficient co-agent for peroxide vulcanization, based on triallyl cyanurate (TAC) bound to silica. TAC reacts with polymer radicals during curing, creating additional crosslink sites for a tighter network. This improves crosslink density more effectively than increasing peroxide dosage alone.
Vulcanizates formulated with Rhenofit® TAC/S exhibit superior hardness, tensile strength, modulus, and abrasion resistance without compromising storage stability or processing safety. It is particularly recommended for black EPDM compounds with medium to high filler content and CM compounds with moderate filler levels. The powder form ensures easy incorporation, dosing and uniform dispersion.
