COLORTHERM® Yellow 26

Product Description

Colortherm® Yellow 26 is an iron oxide yellow pigment with enhanced heat stability. Chemically, the product is similar to the zinc ferrite Colortherm® Yellow 3950, but has a higher heat stability. The maximum temperature stability of a pigment depends on the type of system to be colored. The product belongs to the range of High Performance Special Pigments and thus fulfils the increased requirements placed on color pigments, especially in the paint and coatings industry. It is mainly used in all types of architectural paints and for coloring powder coatings or coil coatings. In addition, the product is ideal for coloring plastics or masterbatches; it can also be used in the field of wood plastic composites. Even with short dwell times and relatively low shear forces in the processing machines, this product displays good dispersibility; the pigment is easy to disperse and quickly reaches the final color strength. It does not show any migration and has high light- and weather-resistance. The product belongs to the range of Colortherm® pigments, which have been specially developed for application areas with increased requirements for heat stability.
