Product Description
Lewatit® PH 5021 is a biopharmaceutical- and food-grade, macroporous, heterodisperse, weakly basic anion exchange resin based on a crosslinked polyacrylate polymer.
It has been optimized for special applications within bioprocessing industries, such as for capture and purification of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, food and natural extract products. Lewatit® PH 5021 is a fully weak base resin and designed to offer a high operating capacity and stability.
Lewatit® PH 5021 is suitable for following applications and beyond:
- Capture and purification of biopharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, supplements from fermentation broth
- Decolorization of bioprocessing solutions
- Capture and purification of amino acids, e.g., tryptophan, histidine
- Demineralization of organic molecules solutions
