Nofia® HM5000

Product Description

NOFIA® HM5000 is a phosphorus-based polyphosphonate flame retardant additive for thermoplastic and thermoset resin applications. The product maintains transparency in the final material, is highly soluble in thermoset processing solvents and is easy to process in thermoplastic applications. NOFIA® HM5000 enables the production of transparent flame-retardant thermoset resins and achieves solid flame-retardant performance with a UL-94 V0 rating. It is suitable for resin systems such as PBT, PET, TPEE, TPU and UPE, and for applications including wire and cable, building and construction, films, sheets and fibers.
