ADDOCAT® PP

Product Description

Addocat® PP is a highly effective and versatile tertiary amine catalyst for polyurethane systems. It is used in coatings, microcellular elastomers, and both flexible and rigid PUR foams, ensuring reliable control of blowing and crosslinking reactions. Owing to its excellent solubility in common organic solvents and polyol systems, Addocat® PP allows precise dosing and consistent reactivity control. Its high thermal stability and low volatility make it particularly suitable for processes with demanding curing requirements.

• Wide application range – ideal for 2K PUR coatings, flexible ester and ether foams, rigid foams, and Vulkollan® systems 
• Highly efficient catalysis – promotes blowing and crosslinking reactions even at very low dosage levels (0.02–3 wt%) 
• Excellent compatibility with aliphatic diisocyanates (e.g. Desmodur® N, Z 4470) and a broad range of polyols (e.g. Desmophen® grades) 
• Outstanding processing behavior – low viscosity (~3 mPa·s at 25 °C) and a clear, water-miscible formulation ensure easy dosing 
• Thermally and color stable – maintains performance and appearance even after prolonged storage 
• Flexible formulation control – easily combined with co-catalysts such as Addocat® PV, 102 or 108 to fine-tune reactivity profiles
