LEWATIT® LGP 3789 FK

Product Description

Lewatit® LGP 3789 FK is a biopharmaceutical- and food-grade, macroporous, strongly acidic cation exchange resin with sulfonic acids groups. It is based on a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer and has a narrow bead size distribution supporting chromatographic separations.

It has been optimized for special applications within bioprocessing industries, such as for capture and purification of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, food and natural extract products. Lewatit® LGP 3789 FK has a medium degree of crosslinking. In contrast to gel-type resins, the macroporous structure allows larger organic molecules an efficient pore access.

Lewatit® LGP 3789 FK is manufactured, fully tested and validated in a 1,2-dichloroethane-free production process (also known as ethylene dichloride or EDC).

Lewatit® LGP 3789 FK is suitable for following applications and beyond:
