BAYOXIDE® C GN-B

Product Description

Bayoxide® C GN-B is a technical chromium oxide green pigment. It is mainly applied in brake linings and abrasives. Chromium oxide has a higher intrinsic hardness than other metal oxides and is added to brake lining mixes, for disc and drum brakes, primarily to increase the coefficient of friction (as well as for green coloring). In addition, the product performs well as an abrasive or polishing agent for metal polishing, e.g. chromium-plated faucets and car bumpers. The product is also used in the surface treatment of glass, such as automobile windscreens or optical-quality glass. Other abrasives, such as aluminum oxide, can only partially achieve the performance levels of this product.
