Product Description

Lewatit® S 5328 is a food grade, gelular acrylic medium base (bifunctional) anion exchange resin.

Due to its acrylic structure Lewatit® S 5328 stands for effective adsorption and desorption of naturally occuring organic substances (high resistance to organic fouling). The very high total capacity and outstanding mechanical stability together with the excellent resistance to osmotic shock makes it unique for demineralization applications. Lewatit® S 5328 is especially suitable for the following applications:

• Demineralization of aqueous solutions such as gelatine, fruit jucies, whey and food acids operated with co- current or modern counter-current systems like e.g. Lewatit® WS Systemth
• The removal of organic matter
