MACROLEX® Violet B is a solvent soluble dye for plastics with high heat stability, good lightfastness and weather resistance, high color strength and outstanding brilliance. MACROLEX® dyes are ideally suited for the coloration of amorphous thermoplastics such as PS, PC, PMMA and PET. They provide for a broad spectrum of possible applications and excellent compatibility with a wide variety of polymer types and manufacturing methods. To further increase processability, LANXESS has developed one of the first microgranulated dyes ever. Produced as hollow spheres, MACROLEX® Gran can be easily broken and distributed evenly and is incorporated quickly, evenly and completely into the plastic, while maintaining all the excellent dyeing properties the range is known for.
