Product Description
Rhenofit®
BDMA/S is based on 1,4-butanediol dimethacrylate (BDMA) and acts as a highly
efficient co-agent for peroxide vulcanization. Its difunctional methacrylate
structure significantly increases crosslink density, resulting in improved
hardness, elasticity, abrasion resistance, and heat-aging performance.
Compared to
simply increasing peroxide dosage, Rhenofit® BDMA/S enables more efficient crosslinking
without compromising processing safety. The low dusting, silica-bound powder
ensures clean handling and uniform dispersion during mixing.
Compatible with a wide range of elastomers, including EPDM, EPM, NBR, HNBR, NR, SBR, CR, CM, CSM, FKM, FEPM, and VMQ, Rhenofit® BDMA/S is the ideal choice for demanding technical applications.
