Product Description
Rhenogran® PbO 80 is a predispersed curing activator and stabilizer based on calcined litharge (PbO) in an EPDM binder. It is primarily used in chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM) and polychloroprene (CR) compounds, where it ensures high crosslink density, improving water resistance, chemical resistance and compression set performance.
Rhenogran® PbO-80 also enhances oil resistance and dimensional stability under harsh conditions. Due to the formation of black lead sulfide during vulcanization, it is recommended only for black or dark-colored compounds. The granulated masterbatch form guarantees low-dust handling and excellent dispersion, making it ideal for demanding technical applications.
