Product Description

Bayoxide® E IN 30 is a technical iron oxide adsorber in granular form. The product is based on a defined amorphous α-Ferric oxide hydroxide structure and has been developed specifically for the removal of arsenic and phosphate from aquarium and non-potable water. In water purification it is characterized by its high particularly high adsorption capacity and abrasion stability.


Bayoxide® E IN 30 is suitable for use in following applications:

    • Phosphate removal from seawater and freshwater aquariums
    • Phosphate removal from surface water, such as ponds, lakes, pools
    • Arsenic removal from non-potable water in which both, arsenate As(V) as well as arsenite As(III) are safely adsorbed below 5 μg/L
    • Antimony, vanadium, and selenium removal from non-potable water
    • Heavy metal removal from non-potable water, e.g., copper, lead, nickel, and zinc
    • Purification of mining water, process water, and streams (e.g., electroplating industry)
