HYBASE® C-500

Product Description

Hybase® C-500 is a 500 TBN oil soluble overbased calcium sulfonate. It provides the highest TBN of calcium carbonate available in a liquid, oil based format. Hybase® C-500 is a typically used as a detergent and rust inhibitor in crankcase lubricants. It is designed as a both a stand alone detergent as well as in conjunction with other detergent types, such as calcium phenate. Hybase® C-500 is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.
