Product Description
Rhenogran® Resorcin-80/SBR is a masterbatch containing 80% resorcinol in a SBR binder, designed for use in direct bonding systems such as the resorcinol–formaldehyde–silica (RFS) system. In combination with a formaldehyde donor (e.g., Rhenogran® HEXA-80 or Cohedur® A250), it forms a resorcinol–formaldehyde resin during vulcanization, which is essential for robust bonding between rubber and reinforcing materials like textiles, glass fibers, and steelcords.
The low-dust, polymer-bound form ensures safe handling, clean processing, and fast, even dispersion. This system is widely used in tires, conveyor belts, V-belts, hoses, and other reinforced rubber goods. The pre-dispersed form ensures rapid incorporation and excellent dispersion, maximizing the bonding performance of resorcinol in industrial practice.
