Thymol

Synthetic Thymol is the chemically-produced version of the naturally occurring phenolic monoterpene found in thyme oil. It is identical to natural thymol (2-isopropyl-5-methylphenol) (C₁₀H₁₄O) and produced by the alkylation of m-Cresol with propene.
