Product Description

Kalama® C-8 Aldehyde FCC is a high purity fragrance ingredient that delivers a fresh green flavor combined with a vibrant orange peel citrus note. It has a pungent odor that becomes citrus-like upon dilution at 25 ppm. It is Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) grade, Kosher and Kosher for Passover (Ⓤ), and Halal certified.

Manufactured under an FSSC 22000 Certified Food Safety Management System, this product is a clear liquid ranging in color from colorless to pale yellow. Due to its susceptibility to oxidation, protective measures should be taken to minimize exposure to air.

This material contains 0.1% α-Tocopherol (Vitamin E) as an antioxidant to enhance stability and extend shelf life.

Applications:
Used as a raw material in the production of hexyl cinnamaldehyde and in various flavor and fragrance applications. In perfumery, it is utilized to create citrus notes, including in eau de parfums and artificial citrus oils. Additionally, it provides flavor in bakery goods, candy, ice cream, and gelatins.
