Product Description

LEWATIT® K 6462 is a strongly basic, gelular anion exchange resin with beads of uniform size (monodisperse) based on a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. The higher DVB content results in increased operating capacities as well as improved mechanical and osmotic stabilities. LEWATIT® K 6462 is especially applicable for the following applications:

• The extraction and recovery of anionic heavy metal complexes from cyanide and chloride containing solutions
• The recovery of uranium from both sulfuric acid and carbonate leach solutions
