Product Description
Additin® RC 3038 is a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate containing primary and secondary alkyl groups. It combines antiwear performance with oxidation inhibition and mild corrosion protection, making it a versatile additive for lubricant formulations. Light-colored and almost odorless, Additin® RC 3038 is designed to react effectively at low temperatures while maintaining performance across a broad temperature range. Its balanced alkyl-group structure provides antiwear protection as well as mild extreme-pressure performance.
The product is particularly well suited for metalworking fluids, where low odor and reliable lubrication performance are important. In an appropriate base oil, Additin® RC 3038 can also be combined with sulphur carriers such as Additin® RC 2415 to support formulations intended as alternatives to chlorinated paraffins.
