Product Description

Firemaster® 2100R is a monomeric, brominated, high-purity, non-Diphenyl oxide based flame retardant.  The product has a very high bromine content and correspondingly high efficacy as a flame retardant in a wide variety of polymers. Due to its small particle size, the product is also well-suited for use in dispersions.

The fine powder is well-suited for coating applications, such as textile backcoatings. 


THE MOST COMMON AREAS OF APPLICATION 

Flame‑retardant engineering plastics such as HIPS, PBT, PP and LDPE.

Elastomer systems requiring enhanced fire safety, such as EPDM, TPE and NBR/PVC.

Thermoset applications including epoxy and unsaturated polyester.

Wire and cable insulation compounds.

Specialty textile coating, such as acrylate dispersions.
