ADDITIN® RC 2811

Inactive, high lubricity, high viscosity, dark colored sulfur carrier

    Additin® RC 2811 is a high viscosity sulfurized fatty oil with high lubricity and low sulfur activity. Because of its high viscosity and polarity it can be used to formulate metal forming and drawing oils as well as slideway oils, EP-greases and for similar applications. Additin® RC 2811 is non-corrosive to copper and its alloys.

    The performance of metalworking oils containing Additin® RC 2811 can be increased by combinations with antiwear additives like Additin® RC 3038, Additin® RC 3080 or Additin® RC 3890. Main applications for Additin® RC 2811 are metalworking fluids, slideway oils and EP-greases.
