THESE SPECIAL FEATURES MAKE THIS PRODUCT SO SUCCESSFUL 

NaMBT is supplied as a 50% aqueous solution and is used in formulations containing water and glycol. Upon application, it forms a thin, adherent film on metal surfaces that reduces corrosion of copper and its alloys while minimizing the impact on heat transfer. NaMBT also limits the catalytic oxidation of glycols, which can lead to acid formation and increased corrosion. The product can be combined with common inhibitor systems and is effective at relatively low concentrations.

THE MOST COMMON AREAS OF APPLICATION 

NaMBT is used in water-based and glycol-containing systems where copper corrosion needs to be controlled. Typical applications include cooling circuits, antifreeze formulations, and metalworking fluids. It is also used in functional fluids to reduce the effects of oxidation and support system stability.
