RHENOFIT® TRIM/S
Product Description
Rhenofit®
TRIM/S is based on Trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate (TMPTMA), a trifunctional
methacrylate coagent that significantly enhances peroxide vulcanization. Its
three reactive methacrylate groups create a highly crosslinked network,
resulting in exceptional hardness, modulus, abrasion resistance, and thermal
stability.
Compared to
difunctional coagents such as BDMA or EDMA, TRIM provides a higher crosslink
density and improved compression set, making it ideal for high-modulus and
heat-resistant applications. The low dusting, silica-bound powder ensures safe
handling, clean processing, and uniform dispersion.
Compatible with a broad range of elastomers, including EPDM, EPM, NBR, HNBR, NR, SBR, CR, CM, CSM, FKM, FEPM, and VMQ, Rhenofit® TRIM/S is the coagent of choice for demanding technical rubber goods.
THESE
SPECIAL FEATURES MAKE RHENOFIT® TRIM/S SO SUCCESSFUL
- High crosslink density – trifunctional structure outperforms difunctional coagents
- Superior mechanical properties – high hardness, modulus, and abrasion resistance
- Excellent heat-aging and compression set performance
- Broad compatibility – works with saturated and unsaturated elastomers
- Clean processing – low dusting grade for safe handling and uniform dispersion
- Color stability of finished products
