LEWATIT® CNP P Scopeblue
Product Description
Lewatit® CNP P Scopeblue is the sustainable equivalent of the conventional Lewatit® CNP P, which is produced with ISCC PLUS certified acrylonitrile according to the mass balance approach under the following license code: ISCC-PLUS-Cert-DE102-22010005.
Scopeblue is the umbrella brand of Lanxess for its sustainable products, which are achieving the following targets:
- More than 50% by mass of sustainable raw materials or
- More than 50% lower PCF compared to the conventional product
The Lewatit® CNP P Scopeblue fulfills both Scopeblue requirements. Over 90% of the fossil raw materials are substituted by material from sustainable, ISCC PLUS certified sources (mass balanced). As a result of the mass balance approach, Lewatit® CNP P Scopeblue exhibits the same physical and chemical properties, obtaining the same performance as its conventional counterpart.
Lewatit® CNP P Scopeblue is a macroporous, weakly acidic cation exchange resin based on a crosslinked polyacrylate. Its beads have a special size distribution for a use in household filter systems and technical drinking water plants.
In the hydrogen form Lewatit® CNP P Scopeblue is suitable for:
- Decarbonisation and softening of drinking water
- Use in household filter systems
