Kalama® Florosol A (EC name: mixture of cis- and trans-tetrahydro-2-isobutyl-4-methylpyran-4-ol; IUPAC: 4-methyl-2-(2-methylpropyl)oxan-4-ol) is a high purity fragrance compound featuring a full-bodied lily-of-the-valley (Muguet) character, enriched with nuanced aspects of rose, cyclamen, and lilac. The scent is complemented by a crisp, green, slightly aldehydic, breezy, and ozonic edge, adding brightness and complexity.

This clear, almost colorless liquid is ideal for fine fragrances, toiletries (bath, hair, body care), and other personal care formulations that emphasize white floral notes. Additionally, Kalama® Florosol A is well-suited for air fresheners, candles, and laundry products, where its bright aldehydic-green facets enhance citrus, green, and other top notes.

The product is Halal certified and Kosher certified (Pareve, non-Passover), meeting diverse global certification requirements.
