Product Description

Lewatit® PH 8021 is a biopharmaceutical- and food-grade, macroporous, heterodisperse, weakly acidic cation exchange resin based on a crosslinked polyacrylate. 

It has been optimized for special applications within bioprocessing industries, such as for capture and purification of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, food and natural extract products.

Lewatit® PH 8021 is suitable for following applications and beyond:

• Capture and purification of biopharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, supplements from fermentation broth, e.g., alkaloids
• Decationisation of organic molecules solutions, e.g., amino acids
• Decolorization of bioprocessing solutions
• Capture of antibiotics from fermentation broth, e.g., streptomycin, gentamicin, neomycin, erythromycin
