Product Description

Kalama® Florosol S is a high purity fragrance ingredient known for its rich and full-bodied Lily-of-the-Valley (Muguet) aroma complemented by subtle facets of rose, cyclamen, and lilac. The product is a clear, almost colourless liquid composed of a mixture of cis- and trans-tetrahydro-2-isobutyl-4-methylpyran-4-ol (EC name) with the IUPAC name 4-methyl-2-(2-methylpropyl)oxan-4-ol.

Certified Halal and Kosher (Pareve non-Passover), Florosol S is widely used in fine fragrances and toiletries where the enhancement of white floral notes is desired. Its delicate but full floral character enriches perfumes, bath, hair, and body care products.

Due to its susceptibility to oxidation, it is essential to protect this fragrance ingredient from exposure to air by storing in tightly sealed containers.
