LEWATIT® K 1131 S

Product Description

Lewatit® K 1131 S is a strongly acidic, gel-type, polymer-based resin in spherical bead form with a very narrow bead size distribution and ideally suited for processing liquid organic media. It has a low degree of crosslinking, good mechanical stability and gives optimum performance in polar media.
Lewatit® K 1131 S is suitable for the following applications:

• Bisphenol-A production
• Condensation and esterification of small polar molecules
• Hydrolysis of ethers and esters
