Product Description

n-Butyl bromide is a reactive alkyl bromide specified for controlled industrial synthesis. As C₄H₉Br (1-bromobutane), it functions as an alkylating agent delivering n-butyl functionality to more complex molecules. The bromide group acts as an excellent leaving group, enabling ether formation, Friedel–Crafts, substitution and Grignard reactions. The product is supplied for professional use in pharmaceutical, agrochemical and dyes/inks manufacturing.
