Ashless antiwear additive, CI-performance, medium reactive
Additin® RC 3770 is an ashless EP and antiwear additive based on phosphorus and sulphur. Lubricants can be optimally formulated to meet the requirements according to FZG (DIN 51354, part 2) and Vickers vane pump test (Type V 104-C, DIN 51389, part 2) using Additin® RC 3770. The recommended treatment levels are in the range 0.4 - 0.6 % by weight Additin® RC 3770.
For metalworking Additin® RC 3770 is preferably used in combination with sulphur carriers. Additin® RC 3770 enhances the surface finish of the workpieces and improves the tool life. Typical treament leves are in the range of 0.2 - 3.0 % by weight Additin® RC 3770.
