Multifunctional ashless EP, antiwear and antioxidant additive

Additin® RC 6340 is an ashless additive with multifunctional properties, i.e. it can be used as an Extreme-Pressure, antiwear and antioxidant additive.

Additin® RC 6340 is ideally suited for formulating heavy metal-free EP greases. Additionally, it can be used as an antiwear/antioxidant component for hydraulic fluids and industrial gear oils. The combination of Additin® RC 6340 with inactive sulphur carriers, e.g. Additin® RC 2410 or zinc dithiophosphates, e.g. Additin® RC 3180 and anticorrosion

additives, e.g. Additin® 4220 assists in achieving optimum performance of hydraulic fluids and industrial gear oils as well as EP greases.

Additin® RC 6340 complies with U.S. FDA regulations (§ 178.3570) for lubricants with incidental food contact. It is acceptable as an H2 lubricant (no food contact) and can be used as a lubricant, release agent, or antirust film in food processing areas where there is no possibility of food contact.

As an HX-1 ingredient, it can be used in lubricants with incidental food contact, not exceeding 0.5% by weight. For further information, please contact our technical service team.
