K-FLEX® 500

Product Description

K-FLEX® 500 is a 1:1 blend by weight of diethylene glycol dibenzoate and dipropylene glycol dibenzoate. This particular blend was created to take advantage of the excellent performance and efficiency of diethylene glycol dibenzoate but with the added advantage of the reduced freeze point imparted by dipropylene glycol dibenzoate. It is compatible with PVC, polyvinyl acetate, acrylics, and other polar polymers and may be used in U.S. food packaging adhesives in accordance with applicable regulations.

THESE SPECIAL FEATURES MAKE THIS PRODUCT SO SUCCESSFUL

• High solvating power for PVC and other polar polymers 
• Reduced freeze point compared to most dibenzoate blends containing DEGDB
• Low viscosity for efficient processing 
• High flash point
• Suitable for regulated applications such as U.S. food packaging adhesives

• Water-based latex adhesives 
• Plastisol applications such as resilient flooring
• Industrial coatings and nitrocellulosic or acrylic lacquers
