LANXESS expands distribution partnership with Palmer Holland for metalworking fluids industrial preservatives in North America 

Pittsburgh, PA –February 27, 2024– LANXESS Corporation’s Material Protection Products (MPP) business unit has expanded its distribution partnership with Palmer Holland for industrial preservatives in North America. The agreement, which went into effect in January, enlarges Palmer Holland’s current portfolio into the metalworking fluids and lubricants markets following LANXESS’ acquisition of IFF’s microbial control business in July, 2022.

With the new agreement, Palmer Holland will cover the entire U.S. and Canada, focusing solely on the metalworking fluids and lubricants markets for the LANXESS Material Protection Products business. Palmer Holland will add the new brands KATHON™, ROCIMA™, BIOBAN™ and KORDEK™ to its portfolio, along with the flagship Preventol^® brand, to represent LANXESS’ full offering of industrial preservatives for metalworking fluids and lubricants.
