Product Description

Kalaguard® SB is a high-purity, dust-free grade of Sodium Benzoate designed for industrial applications, particularly as a biocidal product under PT6 of the EU Biocidal Products Regulation (EU 528/2012) and the U.S. EPA FIFRA framework. It is not intended for food, feed, or pharmaceutical use.

Kalaguard® SB offers reliable and broad-spectrum protection against bacteria, yeast, and mold at pH values up to 6.5. It is non-allergenic, readily biodegradable, and approved by multiple green certification programs, including EPA Safer Choice, EU Ecolabel, Ecocert, and Nordic Swan.

This preservative is certified Kosher (including for Passover) and Halal. Supplied as white, dust-free granules, it is slightly hygroscopic and ideal for use in cleaning agents, detergents, and other storage-sensitive products.
