From the very beginning, our claim “Energizing Chemistry” was more than just a slogan – it was a promise. We have made it our mission to be fast, agile, resilient and flexible and since then we demonstrated this commitment. In a world characterized by highly dynamic markets and increasing complexity, fresh thinking, innovative approaches and adaptability are needed. With this “DNA”, LANXESS has reinvented itself several times in over 20 years and successfully mastered even difficult challenges.

Our core business comprises the development, manufacture and sale of chemical intermediates, additives and consumer protection products. We generated annual sales of 6.4 billion euros in 2024.

Since August 1, 2013, specialty chemicals Group LANXESS is steering its global business from the LANXESS Tower in Cologne.
