Product Description

Kalama® C-10 Aldehyde FCC is a high purity fragrance ingredient featuring a pronounced citrus and floral odor. It is softer than C-8 aldehyde and used to impart both floral and citrus effects. Its fatty, waxy odor reminiscent of orange peel develops fresh citrus and floral characters upon dilution.

At 30 ppm, it provides a waxy, fatty, citrus flavor with a subtle green melon nuance. This material contains 0.1% α-Tocopherol (Vitamin E) as an antioxidant to enhance stability.

Manufactured under an FSSC 22000 Certified Food Safety Management System, this product is a clear, colorless liquid. Due to its susceptibility to oxidation, protective measures should be taken to limit air exposure. 

Applications:

Widely used in perfumery, especially in blossom fragrances, where it creates citrus nuances. It is also a component of many essential oils such as neroli oil and various citrus peel oils.
