Aminic Antioxidant
Naugalube® 438L is a nonylated diphenylamine antioxidant. Its liquid form allows for efficient handling and blending. Naugalube® 438L can easily be incorporated into lubricant formulations, including engine oils, gear oils, hydraulic fluids, turbine oils, and greases.
Naugalube® 438L provides good protection against degradation due to heat and oxygen. High performance transportation and industrial lubricants can be developed using Naugalube® 438L as the aminic portion of the formulation. Naugalube® 438L may be used in combination with other antioxidants such as alkylated diphenylamines, phenyl-α-naphthylamine, and hindered phenolics. Typical treat levels range from 0.05 to 1.0 percent by weight.
