Product Description
Purox® B Food/Pharma is an ultra-pure grade of benzoic acid produced by LANXESS – the world’s largest manufacturer of this product. It meets the highest international quality standards, including USP/NF, FCC, Ph.Eur, BP, JP, and ChP, and complies with EU Food Additive legislation (E210).
Certified Kosher (including for Passover) and Halal, Purox® B is supplied as white flakes with a slightly characteristic odor. Thanks to its exceptional purity, it offers advantages such as low odor, no discoloration, and minimal agglomeration.
Purox® B is widely used as a nature-identical preservative in food and pharmaceutical applications, including bakery products like tortillas, where typical concentrations are around 0.03%.
