ADDITIN® RC 9420 Q

Additin® RC 9420Q is an ashless additive package with outstanding EP/AW behaviour, oxidation and corrosion inhibiting properties.

Typical treat rate to meet U.S. Steel 224 is 1.8% by weight. The recommended treatment level for use in Grease applications is approx. 2-4% by weight. Additin® RC 9420Q is optimised for the use in soap greases and complex soap greases. Additin® RC 9420Q does not contain lead, barium or antimony compounds. Due to the balanced combination of EP-, AW-, CI-,and AO-Additives in Additin® RC 9420Q, there is no need to use additional performance additives for the production of high performance EP greases.

Industrial gear oils based on Additin® RC 9420Q exceed following requirements:

- Timken OK load

- oxidation stability

- corrosion protection of steel and non-ferrous metals

- wear protection capacity

- load-carrying capacity (FZG test A 16.6/140°C)
