Product Description
“Natural” triaryl phosphates
A tricresyl phosphate for reduction of friction and wear in applications where high loads cause boundary lubrication conditions. Used in high performance fluids including mineral oil and synthetic base fluids and more difficult base fluids such as polyalphaolefins.
Triaryl phosphates of this type are widely known as effective ashless antiwear and mild extreme pressure additives for lubricants and functional fluids.
The Durad® product line offers the broadest range of physical and performance properties tailored for specific applications. The cresylic acid phosphates are one of several families of triaryl phosphate products in the Durad® lubricant additives product range. Other additives families include trialkyl phosphates, t-butylphenyl phosphates and isopropylphenyl phosphates.
